Dear readers, newsies, fellow news geeks, interested parties, and the general public, we write to you today as a culmination of the project that this blog represents. Through this quarter, we have disseminated, put to the test, and exemplified many different practices of journalism, such as pitches, media ethics, and objectivity. These processes (and many more discussed) have informed ours, and hopefully yours as well, dear readers: knowledge of the journalistic tradition and its role in informing and functioning in our democracy.
